Este martes fue lanzado el primer tráiler oficial de Bohemian Rhapsody, la biopic sobre Freddie Mercury, líder de Queen, en la cual Rami Malek (Una noche en el museo) dará vida al icónico front man.
El video muestra cómo Mercury conoció a Brian May, Roger Taylor y John Deacon, así como su primer encuentro con Mary Austin, quien sería su esposa antes de admitir su homosexualidad; asimismo, también muestra cómo fue la grabación de Bohemian Rhapsody, canción que da título a la película.
A través de sus redes sociales, la banda inglesa publicó el tráiler de la película, de la cual afirmó que es una "celebración de Queen, su música y su extraordinario líder Freddie Mercury, quien desafió los estereotipos y convenciones establecidas para convertirse en uno de los más queridos cantantes del planeta".
Bohemian Rhapsody traza el ascenso meteórico de la banda a través de sus canciones emblemáticas, como We will Rock You, Killer queen, Another one bites the dust y la que da nombre a la cinta, así como el ascenso y excesos de Mercury.
Además de Malek, quien dará vida a Mercury, Brian May será interpretado por Gwilym Lee; Ben Hardy dará vida a Roger Taylor y Lucy Boynton dará vida a Mary Austin.
Bohemian Rhapsody es dirigida por Dexter Fletcher, quien llegó a la película después de que Bryan Singer abandonara la producción debido a problemas con los horarios de filmación y constantes discusiones con Malek.
